Roe Conn

WLS-AM - RADIO PERSONALITY

 
   

Roe Conn has been with WLS since the switch to Newstalk in 1989. He started as a weekend host and after a short stint as senior producer became the midday host in 1991.  Roe has twice been recognized by Talkers Magazine as one of the "100 Most Influential Talk Show Hosts in America." While at WLS, Roe has also done double duty for the ABC Radio Networks. In 1995, he hosted ABC Radio's PRIME TIME, a nightly wrap-up of the O.J. Simpson trial co-produced by Court TV. Roe has also done work for WABC in New York, WJR in Detroit, the SW Network, and Walt Disney Pictures. Roe has appeared on local and national television including Nightline, Larry King Live, PrimeTime Live, World News Tonight, and the NBC Nightly News. Before joining WLS, Roe produced Emmy-winning commentaries at WBBM-TV and started his career as a producer at WMAQ Radio. Roe is a 1986 graduate of Denison University where he studied Anthropology. He lives in Chicago with his wife and daughter.
